The Great American Rivalry Series will be headed back to Lakeland again to feature the annual end-of-the-season rivalry game between the Lakeland Dreadnaughts (6-2) and the Kathleen Red Devils (9-0).
More than bragging rights will be on the line in this year's game as a district championship and playoff spot are on the line for both teams. Kathleen will look to secure not only an undefeated season, but also claim a district championship against their long-time rivals, Lakeland, at Bryant Stadium for the second time in 3 years. Lakeland will look to secure a playoff spot and possibly the district championship in the process with a victory over Kathleen (Winter Haven must secure a victory over Bartow the same night).
